Meet the team
Combining an educational background in industrial solutions (having gained an Honours Degree in Industrial Design) with his extensive experience in post-harvest fruit distribution, Thorley understands the key needs and requirements of businesses needing to transport fragile goods.
Thorley brings an astute awareness of packaging and materials, along with his understanding of the commercial importance of being environmentally sensitive.
As a partner and co-owner of Purewood, Jacob has amassed over fourteen years experience in engineering. Using this expertise, he set up his own successful engineering company in 2015, which is based out of Mount Maunganui.
Having the engineering company alongside Purewood gives us a further advantage in the reliability and maintenance of our machinery. This ensures that we are able to be efficient in production and meet deadlines with ease.
